CTET December 2026 (22nd Edition)

CBSE will conduct the 22nd edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test on 12 and 13 December 2026. The online application window, including a re-opened window from 25 Aug to 1 Sep 2026, has closed.

• Post: Central Teacher Eligibility Test - Paper I (Classes I-V) and Paper II (Classes VI-VIII)
• Qualification: Minimum qualifications as notified by NCTE for teachers of Classes I-V (Paper I) and/or Classes VI-VIII (Paper II).
• Apply from: 11 May 2026
• Last date: 01 Sep 2026
• Exam date: 12 Dec 2026
• Application fee: One paper: General/OBC(NCL) Rs 1000, SC/ST/Differently abled Rs 500. Both papers: General/OBC(NCL) Rs 1200, SC/ST/Differently abled Rs 600.
