KVS NVS Recruitment Drive 2025 - Teaching & Non-Teaching Posts

CBSE is running the combined KVS and NVS teaching and non-teaching recruitment (Recruitment Notification 01/2025). Tier-1 was held on 10-11 Jan 2026 and Tier-2 on 27-31 Mar 2026. Tier-2 results were declared post-wise between 17 Aug and 14 Sep 2026 (PRT and JSA last). Interviews and skill tests for the posts that have them, and the final selection lists, are still awaited.

• Post: Assistant Commissioner, Principal, Vice-Principal, PGT, TGT, PRT (incl. Special Educator, Music), Librarian and non-teaching posts (AO, FO, AE, ASO, SSA, JSA, Steno, Lab Attendant, MTS) in Kendriya Vi
• Qualification: Varies by post (e.g. PG + B.Ed for PGT, graduation + B.Ed + CTET for TGT, D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed + CTET for PRT)
• Age limit: Upper age limit varies by post, from 27 to 50 years; relaxation as per rules

• Exam date: 31 Mar 2026
• Application fee: Exam fee Rs 2300 (AC/Principal/VP), Rs 1500 (PGT and Group A/B admin posts), Rs 1200 (TGT/PRT/Librarian/non-teaching) plus Rs 500 processing fee; SC/ST/PwBD/ESM pay only the Rs 500 processing fee
